Sara Milner of Bottles and Bonfires brought her soy wax candles to the very last outdoor Flea in September. With "flavors" like Toasted Marshmallow and Brandied Pear, she left Flea patrons wanting more bottles and more bonfires. These great-smelling votives are made in small batches with 100% soy wax that are hand poured and hand crafted at her studio in Plymouth, Mass.
Sara told us, "Two things inspire me to make these candles. One is using a container that is left for recycling and turning it in to a rustically romantic treat. I also enjoy working with fragrances that evoke a memory and create a special mood."
Sara collects recycled wine bottles from local restaurants and works with recycled glass partners. "We're a good fit for the Flea because we are repurposing for the sake of art and function, we support our local communities by buying and crafting locally, and we are creating handmade quality items that are unique."
