Lola's Vintage Closet wants to add some zang to your life. Lola's collection of clothing includes anything from the Victorian era to today. A sampling could include a Victorian dress and shoes to match, men's shoes from the 1960s and vintage Hawaiian shirts.
But you can also find housewares, jewelry and all kinds of other interesting things at Lola's booth.
How did you get your start?
Linda has been in the business since she got her driver's license as a teenager and started driving her great aunt to rummage sales and auctions. Linda says, "She was an antique dealer from Warwick Neck, and I learned a lot from her and other family members. When I went to college for nursing I used the antiques to help support my two young sons."
And who is Lola?
"Lola is my wiener dog. She's 7 lbs of energy, purpose and determination and has been with me for 6 years."
Come meet Linda at The Flea this weekend and she what's she's found to share!
MINT is the luscious collaboration of Jay Davani and Emily D’Ambra, two chic ladies who we are proud to say met at last season’s Providence Flea.
The result of that auspicious rendezvous is a collection of vintage clothing and accessories, and unique handmade items known as MINT. Their collection includes thrifty wardrobe essentials for both men and women that will help you stand out in the crowd.
Jay says, “We love the flea! Not only did we have a successful season selling, we had so much fun!"
Welcome back Jay and Emily! We can’t wait to see you and try on your new treasures. MINT will be on the Greenway for Opening Day on June 1 and every Sunday throughout the summer!
Peter Michaud of Spindle City has been buying and selling high-end vintage mens' shoes and clothes online for the past five years. He also mixes in some newer consignment pieces as well. His favorite question that customers ask of him? "People really buy used shoes?" His answer is a resounding yes! Evidently, men who like to look sharp also know a good deal when they see one. Artist, rebel, dandy--and those who just wannabe--fare attenzione! You're sure to find something with a past at Peter's booth on August 25, September 8 and 15!
