amadeus magazine makes its debut at the Flea on Sunday, July 12 from 10am to 4pm on the Providence River Greenway. amadeus is an arts and culture print magazine published four times a year that aims to "create a space for creators to showcase their work and express their creativity". The magazine is a collaborative effort made up of independent artists who seek to design a network through which creators working in various disciplines can access information, ideas, inspiration, and one another.
We were blown away by their response when we asked them what inspired their work: "We're inspired by the DIY artists and creators who make for the sake of their craft rather than the industry, and the idea that collaboration of any kind can—especially between independent minds—harvest the capabilities to do just about anything." "Providence is finally getting the recognition its deserved all these years for not only its amazing art, but the community of artists behind it, and for serving as an incubator of young, independent talents. amadeus strives to promote and connect these independent talents, and it seems Providence is the perfect combination of engaged audience and eager collaborators to push amadeus, and Providence, further." We cannot wait to see amadeus thrive in Providence and hopefully showcase many of our beloved Flea vendors in the future! Pick up the latest issue of amadeus magazine this Sunday, July 12 at the Flea from 10am to 4pm!
