![]() Sharon Gatzke of Now and Then has noticed that each piece in her collection has its own "personality" --retro, funky, traditional, chic etc. And she's okay with that. You, too, will be as naturally accepting when you see her cool retro/modern oilcloth tote bags, tablecloths, placemats, aprons, clothespin bags, and zippered pouches. (Her vintage button bracelets and rings are equally comfortable in their own skin...) Sharon told us, "I have always loved design and combining colors and patterns to different effects. I believe that an item must be functional and durable but must also have style, be whimsical and be unique and fun too. Also, my work is a statement against mass marketed junk." Amen, sister. Her favorite thing about flea markets? "The surprise," she said. "The unique quality of unexpected stuff." Come and see some of the unexpected stuff Sharon will have for *you* when she joins us on August 11 and 25!
