Bob Green of Oldfangled Finds has collected antiques for over a decade. His finds range from primitive farm tools and kitchen equipment to quirky stuff (vintage electric foot massager, 1940's bedpan--unused, thank goodness!) to an assortment of tins for tobacco, tea and cookies. Bob loves when people ask, "What can you tell me about this piece?" He really enjoys researching the history of a piece--who made it, how was it made, what was it used for, how common it was in its day. And he loves the unpredictability of a flea market, knowing that on any given visit you could stumble across something that completely makes your day. (Hopefully, for you, it probably won't be a 1940's bedpan...unless you're in Bob's booth, of course.) Test Bob's knowledge of his oldfangled finds at The Flea on August 18 and September 15!
